This is the website of Alison Murray Glasgow based illustrator/ author/ designer. Her first book Apple Pie ABC was shortlisted for the Scottish Childrens Book Award and in the US won the 2012 Charlotte Zolotow Honor Book award for outstanding writing in a picture book. Her books have appeared on the shortlists and longlists for the Bookbug Picture Book Prize, the Scottish Children’s Book Awards and the UK Literary Association Award. As well as writing an illustrating picture books Alison recently qualified as a facilitator of community of philosophical enquiry (CoPI). Her interests are using picture books to develop literacy and practice philosophical thinking with children in schools.
